I work at the intersection of social policy, public policy, social work, and sustainable development. I completed my PhD at Carleton University (Canada) in 2019, after joining the institution in 2012, and also hold a Public Policy Analysis Certificate from the London School of Economics (LSE).
My research is driven by a simple question: how do policies actually work in practice? I’m particularly interested in how governments, institutions, and professional fields—especially social work—engage with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and translate them into meaningful action. My work focuses on public policy analysis, social policy innovation, sustainable development and sustainability education, and emerging ESG practices, always with an emphasis on evidence-based and socially inclusive policymaking.
Through my research, teaching, and collaborations, I aim to bridge academic scholarship with policy practice and community-engaged knowledge, contributing in practical ways to the goals of the 2030 Agenda.
